What will I have to look forward to after the election? The next Top Chef which begins November 12 on Bravo! 
This is one of my 3 favorite shows right now (the others being Project Runway and Survivor).
It's in New York this season, and they're adding a new judge, Toby Young, a food critic and author of "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People". Padma, Tom, and Gail will still be there.
There will be a lot of big names dropping by, including Martha Stewart (I can't believe they got her!), Rocco DiSpirito( 
), and Eric Ripert (
that accent!)
I find the challenges so fun, love to see what the chefs concoct, and the judging is very entertaining.

One thing I find interesting is that Katie Lee Joel was not well-received as a judge (first season and then replaced by Padma), but her cookbook has gotten many good reviews. I think her food knowledge just did not come through on the show, for some reason.

6I LOVE Top Chef! We live for it in this house. I also love all of Padma's outfits. Something about Gail irritates me. I can't tell what it is - maybe because she kind of comes off as more food snob than food knowledgeable.
But, we will definitely be watching. I hope Bourdain
guests a time or two - I lurves him, too.
