Does anyone watch this show? It must be so hard to want to do the show so you can spend time as a family without having to work ungodly hours to make ends meet but then lose all of your privacy.
instance, simply being photographed in a car with another woman can set off a firestorm of infidelity rumors, as is the case this week with Jon Gosselin of the hit show 'Jon & Kate Plus 8.'
Us Magazine's cover story alleges that Jon has been caught with a woman other than Kate, his wife and the mother of his eight children. They claim the photo was taken at 2 a.m. as he was leaving a club with the unidentified woman. Gosselin has denied any wrongdoing.
"Like most people, I have male and female friends and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV. However, being out ... late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them," Gosselin said in a statement responding to the photo.
Just last week, Gosselin spoke with Entertainment Weekly about similar issues -- most notably rumors of infidelity and the media coverage of his family.
"The paparazzi thing and public eye, I don't like it at all," he told EW. "I don't mind taking fan pictures and stuff like that, but it's strange to me. I moved back here to be away from that all, we're in the middle of the country, and now they're here taking pictures, whatever. Everywhere."
